Kelly, will be flying in from Phoenix, AZ. Taylor-Dee will be arriving from Cleveland. These online authors will be meeting in person for the first time. The TEXAS KISS ARMY is gathering in Houston, Texas on Friday Night, May 24th as DESTROYER (KISS TRIBUTE BAND) plays at the World Famous, Cardi's Rock Club. Hello- I wanted to bring to you attention a band from Rhode Island called Blackstone Valley Crew. They are blowing up in the New England area as well as NY, PA and NJ. They have also sold numerous CDs through mail order in Japan. The main reason that I am bringing them to your attention is their album cover. It is there version of the classic LOVE GUN lp cover. I think that the band has the potential to be a huge force in new music with the right help. They were recently featured in Alternative Press magazine. They were reviewed as well as being featured in as ad for their sponsor www.Suburban-Assault.com a new clothing company that is working to get bands signed. April 20th @ "The Hollywood Taxi" (Springfield/Eugene OR.) June 8th @ Kennedy Park (Tucson AZ.)
The June 8th show in Tucson is a free radio show but there are only 10,000 tickets being given away so e-mail if u are interested in going.

The bill will also feature other nationaly touring tribute bands; T-N-T (AC/DC) and ROCKS (Aerosmith). We have been geting many e-mails of late asking when we will be playing in Portland OR. again. There are no dates set yet but look for something around June/July.

A professional organized “Kiss Farewell Party” by Kiss Army Norway presented an extremely open hearted and down to earth Eric Singer who really seemed to enjoy the role as Kiss’ ambassador of Norway. The straightforward drummer sat down in front of the die-hards to answer any question made. On the questions concerning the future of Kiss with or without Ace, Eric shared his feelings on the subject. “I think Ace will be there for the rest of the Farewell Tour”. The signing went smooth and unlike Mr.Frehley, Singer happily signed anything for the fans, giving them a night to remember. Even Norways hottest glam rock band , Wig Wam, showed up on the Farewell party to celebrate Kiss with a Kiss Special show. Surprisingly the band presented some Kiss material the fans hadn’t heard live before in a full scale Kiss show . The songs:. Love Gun, Crazy Crazy Nights, Rocket Ride, Lick It Up, Deuce, Christine Sixteen, Heaven’s on fire, Let’s Put The X in Sex and Car-Laile, which Wig Wam said they wrote for Kiss’ Alive 4 in their own hysterical way. And why not ! It was brilliant ! Check out the pictures from the show on http://www.wigwam.no . Eric played with the band on the most amazing versions heard of “I was made for loving you” and “Unholy”, with the frontman spitting blood. Singer even made the band end the show with another round of Love Gun with him. All in all, it was a night the Norwegian fans will never forget.

Nice! I'm back after a short layoff. Fresh from a recent cover of Stuff magazine comes Leah Remini. For those of you that don't know she is an actress on the sitcom King of Queens. The Star Child makeup sure looks good on this queen. I don't know of any KISS related connections to her, but who cares!

I was in 1st grade when my cousin came over with an album his neighbor let him borrow. When I think back on that I wonder where the heck he got it but I didnt care. The guys in greasepaint where too cool for that to matter. The next time I saw another of their albums, my mother wouldnt let me buy it because this one had Hotter than HELL written on it. However, when the band had a hit single, a 'slow' song, something called BETH, my mother couldnt resist any longer. So cool! I was finally allowed to own KISS albums. Year after year after that until I got my own license, my parents rushed me willingly to the store when each album came out so I could have the latest release and I must thank them for that. While I am not going to say if it werent for KISS I wouldnt have a life as you see fanatics on VH1 so proudly declaring. I will say that if you want to be a rock star, Paul Stanley is one hell of a good place to look for inspiration. In fact, my band recorded a song a while back that paid homage to Paul and the glory of a car load of people playing and singing KISS songs as loud as they possibly could.
