Gene Simmons has a guest appearance in the new John Travolta-Film "Be Cool" (in cinemas right now)...

Gene can be seen at the end of the movie at the MTV-Music-Awards. He is sitting two rows behind John Travolta and Uma Thurman and can't be overseen.

Besides Gene there are a lot of other music artists in the movie such as Steve Tyler (in a bigger role), Joe Perry and Aerosmith & various stars from the Rap- and R&B-scene.

Did anyone catch 9 year old Angelo Coppola's performance on America's Most Talented Kids? AWESOME!!! Angelo did the KISS Army proud and came in 1st on the PAX Network's show playing drums to "Rock and Roll All Nite"!

According to his Dad, the response Angelo has gotten from the show has been tremendous. Eric Singer has even asked for a copy of his performance! He also has an entire page dedicated to KISS on his website as well as a short video clip of his performance on America's Most Talented Kids.

I intern at the Howard Stern Show. I was there when Ace Frehley arrived with his manager (some sleazy, shrimpy guy) and Chuck Zito. Sal (aka Sal The Stock Broker - new name Sal the Stalker) and Mike Gange were all excited to meet Ace. When Ace went into the Green Room with his people he instructed Gary that he did not want to talk about two books that were out about him, KISS & Tell and Into The Void... With Ace Frehley or any people associated with the books, mainly Gordon Gebert, Bob McAdams or Wendy Moore. Gary got into a slight argument with Ace as he said he can not control the show's callers. Meanwhile gary had Gordon Gebert waiting on the phone to confront Ace about his books. Sal the Stalker caught wind of this and warned Ace. Ace freaked out before the interview. He said he would walk out if they started discussing the books.

Howard began the interview using references from the books. He had them on his desk. Ace gave a signal to his manager and the manager told Gary that the interview had to stop using the excuse that Ace did not want to talk about KISS or his personal life. Howard got mad and said then why the hell did he come on his show if there were limits to the interview? What did Ace have to hide?

All hell broke loose when they went to commercial. Howard and Gary found out that Sal the Stalker tipped off Ace Frehley about Gordon Gebert on the phone. They got pissed when Sal acted like a freak in front of Ace asking for his photo and giving him demo CDs.

Chuck Zito tried to salvage the interview but it was a mess. Ace, Manager and Chuck Zito left very quickly. Gary vowed that Ace Frehley would never return to the show as long as he was Producer for Howard Stern. Ace was a horrible guest.

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley made a brief appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" on Tuesday (March 29) to promote the DVD release of the "Remedy" movie, which features Frehley in the role of "Johnny." After the break Howard brought in Ace Frehley from the band KISS. Howard said he doesn't know a lot about Ace, but Sal the Stockbroker does. Ace is in a movie called 'Remedy' which is available on DVD. Chuck Zito came walking in before Ace did. Howard was kind of surprised to see him walk in. Ace told Howard about this movie and explained what it's about. Chuck is also in the movie playing a police captain. Howard said that's quite a change for Chuck.

Howard asked Ace if he's in the band right now. Ace said he's not currently touring with them. Howard asked him if he hates Gene Simmons. Ace said he loves Gene and wouldn't say a bad word about the guy. Howard asked him if he thinks they go a little bit overboard with the KISS merchandise. Ace said they do tend to go a little overboard with that stuff. Ace talked about how the band didn't become KISS until he joined. He didn't think that their previous name, WICKED LESTER, would make it. Ace told Howard about his wife and daughter and said that he's one of the happiest guys in the world. He didn't come in to talk about KISS so he sounded kind of bummed out while he was talking about it.

Ace bailed out of the band when they decided to open up for a band that opened for them years ago. That band was AEROSMITH. Gary came in after that and said that Ace's manager wanted him to leave because he didn't want him talking about the KISS stuff. Howard said that he hoped he didn't want to offend anyone so he'd give Ace a plug for the movie. . . Howard didn't want to get in anymore trouble with Ace's manager so he gave him a plug for the movie and started to wrap up the segment. Ace told Howard he's working on a movie treatment now that involves motorcycles and aliens. Howard said he'd take a break and find out what he did wrong. Gary came back in and said that the manger told him that they were there to talk about the movie, not about Ace.

Sal the Stockbroker came in dressed up as Ace Frehley in KISS. He told Ace that he got beat up in school because he dressed up like him but he has continued to dress up like him anyway because he's such a great guy. Sal was going off on the rest of the band members and how Ace is KISS and it was his band.
