What a blast! The first ever Louisville KISS Expo. Surely from the nice turnout there will be more. Looked like an estimated crowd of over 400. The Expo featured Q/A's by former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick and former/current KISS drummer Eric Singer. Since I was MC, I didn't really have a lot of time throughout the day to anaylize the days events so this really isn't much of a review. Plus the Q/A's had the typical questions that are pretty much asked at every Expo. The fans were just fantastic. The fans at the Expo were some of the most knowledgeable I have seen at an Expo. I had conversations with several fans that stated they were so excited that KISS Freaks was back up and running. I love to hear those things. Makes all of it worthwhile. The Airport Holiday Inn was a very nice place to conduct the event. Its even pretty safe. During the tribute band Mr. Speed's performance they set off the hotel smoke alarm with a small smoke bomb. Too funny. They played great. If you get a chance to see them you should. Only disappointment is there wasn't a performance by Bruce or Eric. Just wanted to share some of my photos. Another great KISS Expo by the people at KISS Shop. We got information during the day about the upcoming Indianapolis KISS Expo tentatively scheduled for February 2, 2002. Below are some of the shots my wife Michelle and I took. I have another roll to develop, I will add those photos soon I hope.
